On the 24th January 2017, the keys to the paraplegic toilet were handed over to Abbot Xavier. The paraplegic toilet has a hoist, maximum weight 30 stones, and entry to the facility will be with a RADAR key. Adjacent to the paraplegic facility the Friends have also donated a unisex toilet. Both facilities are in the courtyard of the Visitor Centre. These facilities are a complete donation by the Friends and no funds were raised for them. The main donors are Liz and Ian Stevens of Stevens Washrooms (Portsmouth) and other Friends of Quarr. The facility will be in use by Easter. See here for photograph.
