Quarr Abbey Tea Shop & Farm Shop, open throughout the year, is an extension to our many visitors of the monastic community’s ministry of welcome. Come and enjoy one of our light lunches, all freshly prepared and making the most of our organic produce grown on-site.
Our Tea Shop provides an oasis of peace where people can relax and have time for themselves and for God. If you’re not looking for something to eat, you can still settle back and enjoy peace and tranquillity within our gardens and grounds, accompanied by a cup of fresh Fairtrade tea or coffee.
Watch the wildlife from the comfort of your chair as red squirrels can be seen hopping about the lawn, buzzards ride the thermals overhead and there’s even a friendly robin that will perch waiting for a cake crumb or two.
Our small, friendly team and volunteers are well-known for providing a warm welcome and friendly service.
Opening Hours
Monday to Sunday: 10am – 5pm
Last food orders will be taken at 4pm
CLOSED: Good Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead while on Abbey Ground – only assistance dogs are allowed inside the tea room but dogs on leads are permitted in the tea garden.
