Quarr Pigs

We have been asked by the Isle of Wight Council to inform visitors that it is illegal to feed kitchen waste to the pigs.

Fruit and vegetables which have NOT passed through a kitchen may be given.

Our resident pigs have become synonymous with the Abbey and are a popular hit with visitors young and old. Come visit during spring/early summer to meet our piglets often enjoying a mud bath in the sun!

Located a short-distance from car park, the pigs welcome all who visit Quarr. The pigs are owned and looked after by our tenant farmer, visitors can get close (but not too close) from our pathway that encircles each of the pens, letting you enjoy a full 360-degree view of the family.
